Comic Talent and Convention Floor Management 

  • I handle all aspects of the comic convention and store signing booking process, including but not limited to: Offering the appropriate talent to shows, booking flights, hotels, and sorting out any other travel arrangements under deadline. 

  • In charge of managing and creating deadlines or schedules for client offers and handling any related contracts or paperwork. I plan out every detail of each show for the year and extend offers accordingly, totaling around 60 planned conventions a year.

  • I personally attend approximately 30 comic conventions a year, operating as the on site floor manager; handling booth placement, exercising problem solving skills and convention staffing and assignments. 

  • I’m in charge of setup and tear down for each convention, plus the organization and creation of any attending clients signing and panel schedules.

  • During convention hours I work as an assistant for my creators, selling their merchandise, answering fan questions and seeing that each creator is on time for the signings and any other obligations I’ve scheduled. 

  • I scout out comic talent— established and up and coming— for representation with ComicSketchArt.

  • I have an expert understanding on the creators I manage, including their past and future projects, as well as keeping myself knowledgable on comic creators I do not regularly work with.

  • I have final say on content published and the models or creators to be interviewed. 

  • In charge of writing articles and editing submissions of other staff members.

  • I attended comic conventions with iCosplay Magazine, which included management of schedules and staffing the booth for each convention.

  • I started a costume design and fabrication business in 2012 and have consistently shown growth in both annual profits and social media presence of the company (current following of over 150K across various social media outlets).

  • As an independent business owner I oversaw all marketing, sales, networking, administrative and accounting duties as well as tax organization in addition to fabrication.

  • I’ve attended over 100 comic conventions: Working booths for myself, as well as other companies.
